"State of Emergency" declared "?

My husband and I are going on holiday to Thailand for two weeks, April 23, 2010, as a "state of emergency was declared, is it safe there? still at the Centara Grand Hotel Central World in Bangkok for two nights for the first day, want to go to Khao San Road to book additional flights and accommodation in Koh Samui and other islands are parts of Bangkok safely, are almost the protesters. Which areas should be avoided, such as foreign policy and common wealth office citing "There was a recent series of bomb and grenade attacks in central Bangkok most of which have attacked government buildings and military. "Koh Samui is made by the Protestants, with only the intention to stay in Bangkok for 2 nights by experience, then spend the rest of the time in Koh Samui. We want to have a relaxing vacation, but we are quite concerned and now plans to cancel our holiday.

Personally, I never in a region where there is a state of emergency proclaimed. The risks are not worth it.
