Why is my browsing so slow?
I've always had this "network timeout", "The server is taking too long responders "etc, even yahoo or Google sites. Every time a site is open (after several pressing the Refresh button, or try again) The site represents a pure HTML site .. NO CSS applied. I subscribe to broadband Internet to 2Mbps/512kbps right here in Bangkok. I'm also using utorrent works perfectly. Even if I turned-off of uTorrent and eliminate static IP address on my local computer .. The same problem occurs. Is there a configuration checklist what I put in my router / modem, or LAN settings on your computer or browser settings? I'm nearly about to call my Internet provider. But try your luck here for the first time in Yahoo Answers. I am very happy to read any suspicion or complete in terms of resolving this problem. Thanks!
Some browsers have a timeout limit – the number of time they wait for it to load a page. For example, Apple's Safari browser has a period of 60 seconds. I have had success using Mozilla based browsers and Internet Explorer, and there is a patch for Safari that runs in Safari.
