This can not help everyone, but it has worked for me! When I married zillion years ago I took the wife of my orchid agreement was dressed and wrapped in paper and put in the freezer. A year later, I took the flower and it was dry, but was in perfect condition. I painted dried flowers with hairspray and held for years longer than the marriage!
